The Playground 🛝
Where creativity meets rapid experimentation. This collection features quick product and UX design concepts I develop in just a few hours. Beyond my client work, these mini-projects water my passion and keep my skills playful. They're my design sandbox - where I test ideas, push boundaries, and remember why I fell in love with design in the first place.
Netflix
When watching Netflix shows and movies, I often wish I could see what others think about pivotal, shocking, or emotional scenes. The idea is to create a side pop-up displaying user comments, highlighting where they were made, to foster a sense of community around specific fandoms. This feature enhances the communal experience by allowing users to leave comments and like specific comments that resonate with them while watching their favorite TV reruns, new movies, or starting a new show.

Talabat
For this playground project, I aimed to create a seamless way for friends to split bills when placing a group order on Talabat.
The idea came from a time when my friend ordered for over six people at work and had to manually collect payments from each person. I thought, why not automate this step? If everyone has a Talabat account, it should be simple. Users could also sign in as a guest and pay their share, making it easier to split large orders without the hassle of calculating delivery fees, service fees, and everyone's individual order.

Often, we find ourselves asking friends for recommendations on where to go for a date or lunch, and coming up empty with ideas. This conceptual idea came from a time where I had to take my friend out for a birthday lunch and couldn't find a place. This app eliminates that step by allowing you to see where your friends have pinned their favorite spots. Friends can answer questions about budget, cuisine, upload pictures, and provide referral codes, making it easy to discover new places to eat. Like many of the mini-projects on this screen, this conceptual idea came from a personal anecdote of the time where I had to take my friend out for a birthday lunch and couldn't find a place.
Happy Hour

This project emerged from a real-life challenge during spring cleaning season. While decluttering with friends and selling items on Facebook Marketplace, I identified an opportunity: creating a dedicated bidding platform specifically for exchanging goods within social circles. I developed this prototype to sharpen my technical skills while solving a personal pain point—allowing users to both auction their unwanted items and bid on friends' belongings in one seamless experience. The concept combines social connection with the thrill of auction-style commerce.
